2020 Gift Guide for Young Boys

Gift Guide for Young Boys!

I felt like this would be my wheelhouse, but I can't lie. This was tough. Not because little boys are difficult to shop for. They're just difficult to keep in one place long enough to enjoy anything for too long. At least in my experience.

Tips for shopping for little boys:

1. If they ask for something silly, just get it for them. Assuming it's in your budget and not harmful to them or bystanders, just get the thing, and have some smiles on Christmas morning. Because one day they'll be six feet tall and only asking for one expensive gift and Christmas morning will be over in a flash and it will be sad and dumb and you'll start counting how many Christmases you have until they're off to college.

Enjoy the little boy in your little boy. If he wants another Iron Man mask this year, get two. One for him and one for you.

2. Don't forget non seasonal things. Like boogie boards, sand toys, etc. I know it sounds weird, but they'll still use and enjoy these things.

3. Drones end up in trees. Remote control toys don't last longer than Christmas morning, and you might as well get them all a flashlight because little boys are likely the ones who lost them in the first place.
