Things I Love Thursday: School and These Six Things
Ring the bell!
School's in, Sucka!
-MC Hammer
Wonder if MC knew white soccer moms would be quoting him on their blogs one day.
Prolly not.
Hey.
Welcome back to Things I Love Thursday.
For those of you new to WhimsyTown, here's a run down:
I overshare six things I'm liking to a bunch of people who never asked.
It's a fun little space for me to be silly and creative in a world that feels very upside down right now. So, if you're looking for answers to the crisis in Afghanistan, then you've clearly missed a turn. Download the latest version of Google Maps cause yours broke.
Hopefully you'll find something to smile about, share, or make your life a little easier.

Let's Go!
I do this thing most mornings where I make coffee and drink about two sips of it.
John makes fun of me.
Because he should.
Sometimes I try to get better at coffee drinking by purchasing fun things to put the coffee into.
This is in the college dorm section at Target. The design is fun, but the size of it is perfect!!! Fits so well in my hand and car cup holders where it's forgotten after morning drop off.
Downside: hand wash only.
EASY DINNER FOR THE FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL AND OTHER NIGHTS YOU GIVE UP
Summer snuck up on me this year to the tune of rollin' in hot from a lake weekend the night before school.
No groceries or anything.
Sam's for the win on this chicken.
Air Fryer friendly and everyone ate it, including Scavenger Nash.
I usually do the SNS/nail dip/dipping powder/whatever because I'm a five year old and bite my nails. But one of them fell off while on vacation, so I went full moron and ripped the rest of them off.
I could just get them redone, but I'm not sure how long these kids will be in school before Covid sends them flying back home.
Ergo...not wasting a minute in a manicure chair.
Back to the polish life for me.
Full disclosure: I don't own this set. But my friend Lauren does. And she swears by it. She painted her nails on my porch one day and then I saw her a while later on and it was still chip free. A while = 2 weeks or so. d
Also, Lauren is better than me and cares for her body so well that she only gets the good, non toxic stuff.

WALMART EARRINGS THAT LOOK BETTER IN PERSON THAN IN THE PHOTO BELOW
These look like something a preschooler would craft during their Native American history unit. A dream catcher gone wrong.
But I promise IRL they are super cute, dangly, and match about everything in your closet.
Also, cheap.
REPLACEMENT LENSES FOR MY OAKLEY SUNGLASSES.
I BET AMAZON HAS YOUR LENSES, TOO.
These fit perfectly in my Oakley Feedback frames that I have had for years.
Scratched lenses are for the birds. If you're in a bind, check Amazon for whatever frame you have replacement lenses.
They do the trick.
DRYER BALLS ARE THE NEW DRYER SHEETS
I got sursied some of these by the sursy champion, I love them.
Drop a few smell good oils in the dryer balls and toss them in the dryer.
Reusable. Environmentally friendly. I bet Lauren has had these for YEARS!
Late to the game, but better now than never!
Car rider line time.
No time for a proofread today. Sorry, grammar folk!
